Free From Issues - Thirty Questions To See If You Have Issues
Don't worry about counting how many of these questions you can answer "yes" to. The point is to take a moment with each one and answer them honestly. The more honestly you answer these questions, the more you will learn about yourself and be able to use later on.
- Do you spend a fair part of the day being angry, upset, frustrated, and/or annoyed?
- Do you feel that the people around you are idiots, clueless, and/or stupid?
- Do you feel you were meant for bigger things?
- Do you feel like life is passing you by?
- Do you detest going to work or school - feeling it's a waste of your time or talents?
- Do you hate doing house work, yard work, or homework because it seems useless?
- Do you feel people need to be punished or disciplined when they cross you?
- Do you wish you could spend most of your time by yourself?
- Do you feel the people around you have no idea about who or what you really are?
- Do you feel other people are wrong when their opinions differ from your own?
- Do you feel afraid to ask for help because other people will think you're stupid?
- Do you feel undervalued and/or under-appreciated?
- Do you feel your time is more valuable than other people's?
- Do you feel like you have no real friends?

- Do you hate being challenged - regardless of the individual circumstances?
- Do you get upset at times over very small and insignificant things?
- Do you find the habits of others make you want to freak out?
- Do you feel people "don't get" or "understand" you?
- Do you feel like the only way to "let go" is to "explode"?
- Do you feel like you want to have the power to control other people's lives?
- Do you feel the need to "correct" people when they are wrong?
- Do you feel the need to "remind" people when you are right about something?
- Do you feel you are the only competent person you know?
- Do you think other people are generally put on the earth just to annoy you?
- Do you think everything that happens around you happens because of you?
- Do you feel other people just can't do things as well as you can?
- Did you find yourself getting scared at any point while reading this list?
- Did you find yourself getting angry or upset at any point while reading this list?
- Do you feel like reading this list was a total and complete waste of your time?
Now go back and re-look at the questions again. This time around, keep track of how many questions you answer "yes" to - still being 100% honest. Be sure to also note if any of your answers changed (this includes the last three questions). If any of your answers did change, don't try to justify it - instead make a note of the question so you can look at it again later.
If you honestly answered "Yes” to only one or two of the above questions then it shows there are things in your life that could use improvement. If you honestly answered "Yes" to five or more then it means your issues are having a major impact on your life. On the other hand, if you lied to yourself about even one of the questions (no matter which one), or answered yes to ten or more questions, then your life is being controlled by your issues - NOT YOU!
Now that you have an idea of what kind of impact your issues are actually having on your life, you have to decide what to do about them. You can choose to do nothing and let the issues continue to control your life. Things will continue just as they always have and your life will continue to fall apart around you (like always). All that you have to do to make that happen is "Nothing" - just keep doing what you always have.
Of course you also have the choice of learning how to deal with your issues - of learning how to regain control of your life so that YOU are the one in charge of it instead of your issues! If you choose to take this path then we will be able to offer help and support every step of the way. We will be able to teach you how to deal with and manage your issues so that they are no longer in control of your life.
