Free From Issues uses a unique blend of Counseling, Life Coaching, Therapy Work, Self-Help, and Human Nature, all used in combination with Reality; to create a unique program for each of our individual clients. While this does require a higher degree of skill and time to set up on our part, the benefits that it provides to you, our clients, is well worth the effort.
Unlike many traditional and non-traditional systems, Free From Issues also offers a great deal of information for free (or at minimal cost – such as our Seminars). We do this because the more information you have at your disposal, the better the chances of your success. We don't make you join a group, give us your personal information, or pay for a block of sessions to access this information. We offer it openly here on the Free From Issues website so that anyone can see it anywhere in the world. However, we also realize that information alone is not enough.
No matter how much information you have at your disposal, it's only as good as your ability and willingness to use it. That's why we offer a range of additional support services that don't just focus on the passive counseling and therapy approach used by others. Instead, we set solid expectations of every client as part of each individual session. By telling you what we expect you to do outside of the session, you are required to take on a more active role in your own life. This also gives you something to accomplish and/or overcome on a regular basis.
While this may seem odd, this simple thing makes a tremendous world of difference. By having something to look forward to, having goals to meet, and things to overcome, it allows you to actively chart your own progress. This allows you to feel like you're both involved in your recovery, and gives you a sense of accomplishment when you reach each individual goal, etc. Something that allows you to feel more in control of your own life, while also adding depth and capability.
There is one other fundamental difference that separates Free From Issues from all the other services out there – we don't require perpetual, ongoing sessions. It's our goal to give you the tools you need to succeed in your life so that you don't require our services. By ensuring you can deal with your own life on your own terms, it truly gives you freedom to live your life. If we required you to keep coming back forever then you could never truly be free.
