Discover Why We Are So Busy Trying To Deny Our Humanity In Order To Become Machines InsteadIn modern society it's become unacceptable to be "human". We're not allowed to get sick, feel emotions, or show weakness of any kind. As a result most people have opted to try and become a machine instead. Unfortunately to be able to perform this transformation we have to sacrifice almost everything that makes us who we are.
When we stop and actually look at the world around us, it's understandable why we want to become machines instead of human. People generally believe that Strength comes from a lack of emotion and feeling. That success only happens with sacrifice and dedication. We believe that we have to be closed off in order to be defended. Unfortunately most of those commonly held beliefs are the result of fear and issues - not reality. Part of the problem we have with becoming machines is our own fault. We can't, or won't, deal with our issues and fears. We are too afraid of our lives to even contemplate living them. All of that can make it very appealing to be a machine. To have no feelings, no emotions, to never get sick, never get hurt, to always in control, always in charge... that's just far to appealing to ignore. The rest of the problem comes from outside of ourselves. It comes from things like employers that don't want "people" because they require effort to deal with. That only want "numbers" who will do what they're told without question or fail. That will work every shift regardless of the things happening in their life, the weather, or anything else. It's also because of other people who are also afraid of being human. If you're human then it only serves to remind them that they're not - and that's just not acceptable! There are many reasons and justifications to become a machine instead of being human. Almost all of which are the result of our own issues, fears, and an unwillingness to put effort into our own lives. Things like the idea that we don't think we are worth the time and effort it would take to be an active participant in our own lives. Fear that others won't like or accept us if we have a personality or opinion that's our own. On and on the reasons and justification continue until finally we've destroyed almost everything that makes us human.
So this raises the important question, "What Do We Get For Sacrificing Our Lives To Become A Machine?" Sadly, in almost every case, all we gain for the sacrifice we made is a kick in the face and loneliness. Because we cease to be human we allow others to treat us as "inhuman". We accept negative treatment and abuse that no Human would ever accept. We tell ourselves that we'll get punished, loose our jobs, or sacrifice even more if we don't do it. However, what we don't realize is that the sacrifice we already made to become a machine is far, far worse than any punishment we might get for actually being human. More importantly, the benefits we have in being human are that we can actually become strong, capable, people who are in real control of their own lives. We don't have to sacrifice everything so we can gain those things in delusion. We can actually work to have them in our lives in reality. Plus, as an even bigger benefit, because they are in our lives in reality, no one outside of ourselves has the power or ability to take them away. Even though your issues and fears want you to think and believe otherwise, being human is far, far better than being a machine. Being human leads you to be able to do countless amazing things you can only dream about if you're a machine. You can connect to the people around you in real ways and have solid relationships and friendships. You don't have to sacrifice your life to your issues and fear; you can put that time and effort into living your life instead. There are just so many benefits to being human it would take years to list them here. So why not stop trying to be a machine and learn what it actually means to be "Human" instead?
